Botica offers a delightful dining experience with a perfect blend of contemporary and traditional flavors. The menu is innovative, featuring a range of dishes that showcase fresh, high-quality ingredients with creative twists. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it a great spot for both casual outings and special occasions. The service is attentive and friendly, ensuring a comfortable dining experience. Whether you're a fan of bold flavors or looking to try something new, Botica is definitely worth a visit. I also loved meeting the chef, he's very funny!
The food, service & vibe here was awesome when we went this past weekend! We sat outside on the patio, and while it was chilly outside, their outdoor heaters work very well. Amber made great drinks at the bar for us, Maria was a great server & so friendly and Chris made us an awesome piña colada from scratch! Their salsa was soooo great & spicy, you can tell it is fresh.
Overall the food is pretty good. I have tried a few of the taco options, the wings (crispy and delicious) roasted oysters, nachos and octopus. We'll come to think of it, I've actually had all the tapas/apps. They have a ton of TVs there to watch any game that might be playing. It's pretty lively in there, music too. Ample seating at the bar which is my go to for quick service. Staff is friendly and they encourage shots!
Botica always has good vibes. I feel like the bartenders I meet sitting at the bar are always friendly, helpful, and attentive. It's also definitely somewhere where it's pretty easy to meet new people sitting at the bar specifically. People are very friendly here and always willing to strike up a conversation. I do also enjoy their queso and their salmon is actually surprisingly really good considering this is a Mexican restaurant. Overall, I enjoy it here and I would recommend.
Had a great time at their happy hour after work. The wings are delicious and the patatas bravas comes out hot with pepperoni. But the tapas is small, I'm talking 4 potato cubes on a plate. 2 wings, 2 meatballs, $5 each. The regular order of wings were $7 for 6 wings during the special. So I ordered that instead. Great atmosphere and a wonderful staff with bartenders that make good drinks. Validated parking, an outside patio and quiet enough to have a conversation with background music. Bring your friends, ask for Chris the bartender. I'll definitely be back again.
So this spot is a pretty good happy hour joint. The happy hour menu has several appetizers for $5, as well as mojitos, margaritas, mimosas, and sangria's. I tried the meatballs, and they were good. I also tried the Diablo wings. They were kinda hot but not overly hot so if you want something with good flavor, they were a good choice. Just to note, the happy hour is small portions. So don't think you are getting a full plate of wings for $5. You get 2 items (oysters, empanadas, wings, meatballs). So this can really run the check up if you are not careful. This isn't a bad thing, necessarily, just a warning before you start ordering 4 of everything on the menu lol. The margaritas were pretty decent. They have some flavor options as well, if you wanted to try something other than a typical lime flavor. The waitress was pretty cool. The service was cool overall though. When it came to the bill they did try to get over a little because of some overcharges, but the waitress did try to make it right so I do give credit for that. Indoor and outdoor seating is good here, depending on the weather. The outdoor seating is right on Peachtree road so if you are into people watching, then this is pretty clutch. Parking is in a structure, but they validate for up to 3 hours. You just have to put your plate number in the system, so that makes it super easy. Overall the happy hour was solid. I would probably come back and try the full order of some of the food there too, so that was a good sign.
Botica replaced Watershed (one of my old faves UGH) but I was still excited to see what Botica was all about. We made reservations at Botica for my bestie's birthday dinner and even though it was a Tuesday night, the parking deck was POPPING like I don't know why there were so many people out and about. We witnessed a fender bender in the super tight parking deck. Luckily we weren't a part of that mess and headed toward the restaurant entrance. Parking is validated once you park in the attached deck when you enter your license on the iPad at the hostess stand. It's a big ole party when you arrive - even on a Tuesday night. Back in 2022, the crispy fish tacos were $2 each so of course we ordered one per person, along with tasty tapas and apps, including the patatas bravas, the wagu carpaccio, the Spanish grilled octopus and the tuna crudo. My absolute FAVORITE bite was the crispy Diablo wings - super spicy but tasted great. And you know it's not a birthday without green tea shots - only $10 a piece phew. Definitely recommend Botica to celebrate or even to grab just a casual bite to eat!
I had the most incredible brunch experience at Botica yesterday around 3pm! As someone who loves going out to eat, I appreciate a great experience. First off, the environment is very full of life, there is a huge round bar in the middle of the restaurant, a nice sunny patio area, and there's a pop of color everywhere you look! The music is fun and not too loud. There's a lot of Hispanic inspired decor and I love it! As far as food, my partner and I decided to try the chicken and waffles, steak and eggs and a mango mimosa. The mimosa was very delicious, it is such a good reliable drink. The steak and eggs were cooked to perfection, I ordered my steak medium and my eggs scrambled, the potatoes were also a hit. The chicken and waffles were good as well! I love the way it was set up on the plate with pineapple and nice organization. As far as service, our server Merma was very attentive. We went during brunch time so we were worried it would be a bit too busy, but she did amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. She was excellent I definitely recommend asking for her. Mina was also great and he checked on us as well with a friendly smile and conversation. The service alone was enough to convince us to want to come back soon! Great food, service and environment, it was all amazing!
I've been to Botica one other time and the experience was mid but this time was a lot better! Ordered the salmon quesadilla as my entree and it's was actually very good! I feel like salmon is a hard clncept for restaurants to master cause it's either not seasoned enough or overly seasoned but this was a great balance. It was a bit oily like noticeably oily but if you give your diet a break for the day you can ignore it The Mexican rice and the black beans were very nice as well! Not your typical yellow rice but the rice was seasoned with a little bit of spiciness to it. I was a fan! Highly suggest ordering the coconut mojito as a drink. Some other people at the table had the pineapple and said they weren't a fan but I loved the coconut mojito. The table had great remarks about aperol spritz froze as well! Pricing was a bit pricier than expected for a Mexican restaurant -- 20% gratuity is added to all checks and there is a liquor tax so it does add up. My bill with just an entree and a drink was $47 so with appetizers and things like that it'll take up. Now is the food worth the price -- maybe if you really love Mexican food They do a great job of celebrating birthdays tho!
